FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1Is Open Play really free?
Yes! Our open play hours are always free to the community, thanks to generous donations and sponsors who help keep our doors open.
2Do I need to register or sign up ahead of time?
You do not need to register, but a waiver must be completed prior to your first visit. After that, you’re welcome to drop in anytime during open hours!
3What ages is The Hideout best for?
The Hideout is designed for kids ages 0–10, but all ages are welcome to join in the fun.
4Can I drop my child off to play?
No, all children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver during open play.
5What should we bring with us?
Please bring socks for both kids and adults (no shoes in the play area). We also recommend a water bottle—playtime can be active!
6Are food and drinks allowed?
Snacks and drinks are welcome in the designated café/seating area only, not in the play space. If you forget to bring something, we’ve got you covered! Our snack shop offers prepackaged snacks and drinks, plus a make-your-own coffee bar!
7How busy does it get during Open Play?
It can vary! School breaks tend to be busier, especially with older siblings in attendance. Each day is unpredictable, but earlier mornings are generally a little quieter. If you’d like, you can reserve a private hangout for you and some of your closest friends.
8Is the space available outside of Open Play hours?
Yes! When we’re not open for community play, The Hideout is available for private celebrations, events, and classes.
9How can I help keep Open Play free for families?
We’d love your support! Donations, sponsorships, and wishlist gifts help us continue offering free play hours to the community.
10Where do I find updates on hours or closures?
